Fins and Family Fishing's Orange Beach inshore fishing charters are fun for the entire family! Our inshore fishing charters feature a variety of saltwater fishing techniques which vary based on the time of year, number of anglers aboard, and the overall skill level of our guests. We often fish styles such as casting live baits or jigs under popping floats, casting artificial scent baits to the bottom, drifting live and dead baits across the bars and reefs, casting artificial lures and plugs, and free lining live baits. We use these techniques to fish over open water oyster beds, along salt marsh grasses, near bridges and passes, on edges of sand bars and channels, near docks, and more. Live shrimp is one of our favorite inshore bait choices but we will fish finger mullet, Bull Minnows, and even crabs if the fish prefer them. Fish our guests often catch includes awesome saltwater fish species such as Red Drum, Speckled Trout, White Trout, Black Drum, Black Snapper, Sheepshead, Flounder, Pompano, Spanish Mackerel and more!

Inshore fishing charters in summer, and fall are great for those who prefer catching to fishing. Numerous fish species and easy to execute fishing techniques help us turn inshore fishing charters into inshore catching charters. Warm water species such as White Trout, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Black Snapper, Speckled Trout and Black Drum top our list of preferred species. In addition to our targeted species we often catch numerous other fish such as Croakers, Ladyfish, Catfish, Pigfish, Rays, and Bluefish. While our seasoned saltwater anglers often prefer not to catch bi-catch species we find our young and new anglers enjoy the constant activity these additional species provide while we chase the big ones.

The majority of our Orange Beach inshore fishing charters feature our awesome 25 foot 2019 Sea Hunt BX25BR named "Family Tradition". She is loaded with features which include padded seating, front and rear casting decks, twin 10 foot Power Poles, and state of the art trolling motor. She has a hard top for on board shade and features elevated front and rear casting decks. She is powered by a Yamaha 300 on a jack plate and she will comfortably take us our favorite fishing spot quickly and efficiently. Fins and Family Fishing's Orange Beach inshore fishing charters in summer and fall often consists of fishing for Speckled Trout, White Trout,  Black Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Redfish and more. We often fish near the jetties at Perdido Pass, in Cotton Bayou, Wolf Bay, Arnica Bay, and even we even venture into Florida. Early Spring and Winter inshore fishing charters in Orange Beach have fewer overall species than our warmer months but the cooler months can still offer exciting fishing. Spawning Sheepshead and tasty Pompano join Redfish and seatrout as our most pursued cool water fish.
